What WE Do!

Soroptimist International of Suburban Essex has participated in many projects and partnerships over the years.  We have joined with the National Council of Jewish Women in projects protecting youth from violence through our "Loves Me- Loves Me Not" bookmark initiative. We are in partnership with St. Vincent Academy, Family Services League of Essex County, the Essex County Rape Care Center and Elder care centers in Essex County- meeting our mission to improve the lives of women and girls in our local communities!!

This year, SISE has outlined an exciting calendar of events for the coming club year.  You can look at our calendar for specific dates!

  • Partnership with St. Vincent Academy- the Backpack Project- supporting girls entering High School.
  • Partnership with Grandma Kares- Holiday Families
  • Open Hearts to Seniors- our Valentine’s Day project serving elderly clients of a local Day Care facility
  • Partnership with the Essex County Family Services League and the Rape Care Center-
