When the Christmas Holidays are over-  Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! 

 

For many years our Soroptimist Club has provided an Adult Day Care Center with 40 – 50 bags of personal products as a small Valentine gift.  The clients in this facility are always very grateful for this little extra gift which includes shampoo, tissues, lip balm, note pads and other small items that the seniors find useful.  We expect to provide them with this gift again this year. 

We will be filling the bags at our January meeting, another chance for club members to enjoy the evening while completing a project that meets our mission. 

Mary Angela Kunst is once again chairing the committee and will ensure that the gift bags are delivered to the facility in time for the holiday celebration. 

This project has a very small budget, but provides for a big impact with area seniors.
